DIRECTOR’S NOTE: This film is not meant to portray Burning Man as “taking credit” for the Occupy movement. Instead, my attempt was to show how the “consciousness” in the Occupy movement has been incubating for many years before Sept 17, 2011.
I know, i know…we’re a bunch of “dirty hippies” (thats what alot of the Occupyists are being painted as in mass media). I will continue to embrace that hippie moniker if it means enacting/moving towards some sort of change. The world is dying and so much can be done to shape our last hundred or so years, including us all learning to be kinder to one another and not using money as means to value/devalue someone, something or things that are important to one another.
