Interview with Goddess Kring - Nudism

The video segments Kringen produces for cable TV often include themes that address naturist interests. In one program from 1999, she appears nude excapt for a gauzy veil draped over her shoulders. She talks about her body, her desire to “follow her bliss”, her fears, and her relationships with people. At one point, she hopes we can be “open and honest, physically nude and intellectually-open-nude you know? I want people to look to their heart.” she says, “to listen to their inner voice within and trust their joy”.

Bird Flu by Vincent Lillis

I once had a bird that flu everywhere,

All over my neighbours,
And all over my hair,

I coughed and said,

‘Fuck off bird, don’t fly around me,
There’s flu everywhere!’
He flu into a tree,

So I got a pig,
Because pigs can’t fly,

But then the pig flu,
And I sneezed in surprise!

‘Oh pig, you flu! You horrible swine!’
He flu all around the world,
In absoutly no time,

WHO said we should worry,
Who said we should worry?

The pigs are all flying,
That’s got to mean something!

So I got a dog.

Hahahaha!!!!  Im sick today and wanting to get better.  I feel really lousy if I have to skip this Marathon shoot because Im still contagious.  Still, this poem made me laugh my ass off.

everyone, i know this blog is usually me just whining about my views on things and how much my life sucks or whatever, but i want to be serious for just a minute. i want to use this blog as a tool to get word out there, in whatever way i can. so i’m going to ask all of my followers to read and reblog this. it isn’t that much to ask.

seeing as the holidays are coming up, i think i might start somewhat of an awareness theme for this blog on sundays. christmas/hanukkah/other holidays are soon, and after a recent conversation, i’ve really started thinking. we are all really lucky people, whether we want to admit it or not. the fact that you’re sitting here reading this means you have a computer or some kind of internet. a lot of people don’t.

there are people who have no home, no family, and no one to share their holiday with. they live outside, in the freezing cold, snow, and ice. because they have nowhere to stay. homeless shelters only house so many people and feed so many people. there’s never enough room for everyone. i’m asking you to imagine yourself for five minutes living on the streets on christmas instead of sitting in your warm family room opening presents. it’s not a happy thought, is it? no one deserves that. no matter what they’ve done in their lives.

so. for every 20 reblogs that this post gets, i will donate a bag of food to some local homeless shelters in my area. for every 10 “likes” that it gets, i will donate $1.00 to a local charity or soup kitchen. let’s see what you tumblrers can do.
